its well good, i cant say this enough, its a media player, ipod, mobile phone and much more

Is this going to be worth the high contract price and is this going to remain specifically o2 as I'm on an Orange contract at the moment.
I'm not a fan of safari as a web browser but if there's not going to be anything to rival this in the next year or so then I'll definately have to look into it.

Got mine for free from www.freetechnology.co.uk so can't comment on the amazon provider but the iphone is truly an amazing piece of kit.
It's got a revolutionary multitouch navigation system which is intuitive and fun. The endless expanse of display alone is nothing short of mesmerising, with beautiful bright colors and crisp resolution. It's a great handheld video player, a decent music player and camera; its browser, while not as versatile as the one on your notebook, is still impressive. Plus, it works just fine as a mobile phone.
As the guy below says, beware on the price of the contract. Over 18 months this will turn out to be very expensive and 200 minutes is not really very much for a £35 contract. But as a gadget the iphone is wonderful, you couldnt get me to part with it now!

The iPhone is simply stunning.
Having worked with it for a weekend, I'm already planning to get more. It's the best cell phone I've ever used; it gives usable remote access to email; and it has a great Web client. Some improvements are needed -- to-do task list, voice dialing, custom ringtones, Bluetooth enhancements, a working headphone jack, etc. But even with these missing features, iPhone is a startlingly compelling product.

£600 quid? Is that right?? Or is there an error with the page downloading?? Seriously, £600 is a lot of money! I think it would be better to wait a few months, or maybe a year or so for the price to go down. It's a good piece of equipment, but not for that amount of money.
