Very Impressive - 30 Mar 2008

I got my iPod yesterday, and so far I am really pleased with it. All my music and videos downloaded from iTunes in a matter of minutes with the push of a button.
The iPod is easy to navigate around, with superb sound and video quality, as well as nifty extras, including surprisingly enjoyable games.
The design is also amazing. The Nano has been dubbed as "fatty", but it is anything but fat. True, it is shorter and wider than either of the previous Nanos, but this is only to make way for a bigger screen, which is great for watching videos on the move.
The only critisism I could have for the Nano is that, although the polished metal back looks great when you get it out the box, it very quickly begins to get lots of little scratches all over it, no matter how careful you are.
On the whole, a great little media player, and definatley worth the money.
I LOVE MY i-POD :D - 30 Mar 2008

I would reccomend this little buy to anyone. I have 5 close friends, all of whom have an i-Pod. Until now, I was the only one without one, so naturally I really wanted one so i saved up and have bought it. One has an 80gb ipod video, its nice but sorta chunky and large. The one who got one first is the first ipod nano classic, before all the others came out. Its not that good but it is a working, nice looking ipod! The other 3 all have the 2nd generation 2gb nano. Two got them for their birthdays (they copy each other all the time : D) and one's dad just bought it for her. (I dont know why i am telling you that LOL)
I wanted one for like a year after they all got one, but there was something about them that jut put me off - I mean they really werent that great! Anyway, so I waited and waited, until the 3rd generation nano came out! I fell in love with it immediately and recently ordered one. It is so perfect for me especially as it is better than all of theirs (in my opinion).
Firstly, it plays video! It is smaller and thinner and lighter and cuter and the coverflow is awesome.
Secondly, it is the same price as the 2ndG but it plays video and is twice as much GB and is sooooooooo much nicer...
I would reccomend it to anyone who was just holding back because you will love it! I just wish i had it sooner!
All my friends are secretly jealous lol, and (if ur reading this guys im sorry :) )
Its definately apples best i-Pod so far...
Very pleased!
4GB ipod nano - 28 Mar 2008

Excellent product and quick delivery by amazon , arrived in excellent condition.
It was a bit deceiving that i ordered the ipod nano and the silicon case together, by telnik and i had to pay 6-7pounds extra for delivery although it said the delivery price was free. I could not understand why there was a charge for extra 7 pounds as i was using gift voucher coupon and hence i just had to go through with the order.
But ipod in itself is amazing and really enjoyed the music quality and looks.
Happy, happy, happy!! - 01 Mar 2008

My 2 eldest daughters have i-pods and I always said I would never have the need for one. How wrong was I?!
The sound is great and it is very lightweight as well as thin and so easy to use. The only slightly annoying thing about the 4GB is that it only comes in one colour - silver. I would have liked a range of colours to choose from but I guess they all do the same thing at the end of the day!
I am seriously thinking about buying my youngest daughter a shuffle as I can see she will highjack my Nano! When the weather gets a little warmer, I hope it will help me lose a few pounds by listening to my music whilst I walk my way round the village where I live!!
The best thing about it was that it was £10 cheaper than Argos and Comet were selling it for which makes it even more appealing.
Better than expected - 01 Mar 2008

Bought two of these for my kids. Didn't fancy one myself due to the size - I'm a bit clumsy and my eye sight ain't what it used to be. Also, I have never liked the look of the Ipod, and was really happy with my Sony Walkman, and wasn't interested in video capability. Apart from sounding better, the Sony also looked and felt a lot better in my opinion.
As soon as took the Nano's out of the box, I thought they were great. The metal casing is far superior to the naff plastic on previous models, and the screen is great, if still a little small for me. the only thing letting it down was the awful Apple earphones. However, the kids think they sound fine.
The volume level is a touch low, but I find it to be ok in all but the noisiest paces. Many people don't appreciate the effect these things will have on our kids hearing in years to come. Went straight out and bought an 80gb classic. Best thing I ever bought. I know several people who have had trouble downloading songs and movies onto their Ipods when using Windows. Although I have several PC's, I manage everything Ipod through an Imac, and have so far found everything, including itunes to be fantastic, and I have watch tons of video on the classic and enjoyed every minute. Would have been five stars, but the earphones are crap.
