Good buy but confusing - 07 Feb 2008

So far It's proven to be quite a good player; it has good sound quality which reaches a decent volume. The number of songs it can hold is more than enough for what I need, so that's more or less the reason why I bought it.
However, after first charging the battery, it ran out after about 10 minutes, and every time I try to charge it, it will only do so for about 5 minutes at the most before it says it's full. It may be that it needs to be charged a few more times before it will reach it's full potential, but from my experience that rarely ever happens.
I also find the controls very confusing. Fine, I can handle playing the songs and can just about navigate around my folders which I've put them into, but I have yet to discover how I'm supposed to get to the main menu (apparently you have to hold the menu button but it only ever produces the sub-menu, or failing that does nothing at all).
The buttons are another issue for me. I find that usually I have to press them quite hard to get the player to respond. They seem quite clunky and inefficient.
Aside from all this, I think it has the potential to be good. I'm looking forward to putting some movies onto it to watch. I can't help but wonder whether the screen's a bit too small though.

I recently broke my Sony mp3 player, so I bought this one, seeing its amazing price. But BEWARE, the sound quality in other mp3 players, like the iPod and Sony WAlkman's is outstanding, absolutley nothing compared to this. The manual is rubbish, it's so short and hardly describes and explaind anything. Simply Not Worth It. The games are so rubbish, I've seen better ones in in flight magazines! The only reason why I gave it 2 Stars was the fact that overall it works (but I only got it yesterday) and it does its job plain and simple.

Ok folks, there were a lot of bad reviews for this item but I had to have it as it seemed too good to be true. But it wasnt, got it yesterday, its smaller than I though and ok maybe it is a bit cheap looking. But downloading music is sooo simple, converting videos with the software provided is easy too and very quick, then its just drop and drag, i could not believe how easy it was. I downloaded an episode of Lost to watch on the bus today and have to say the quality is pretty high and im delighted with this, highly reccomended

Only a little tricky to work out controls at first but after 10 minutes of fussing its a delightful little gadget to use, the price is great and its lasted me a long while now. I am upgrading to an i pod, only because of apple vouchers i have received but overall it's stayed in perfect condition and it holds the amount it says it does. You can flip through photos, watch videos (at suprisingly high quality for a little gadget).

I was very pleased with the delivery condition and it arrived a day early so i can be happy listening to music on my bus journey to college instead of slowly going insane.
