Great stuff - 27 Dec 2005

After hours of research into various MP3 players, I decided to buy this creative zen - and I am so glad I did! It's small, light, easy to use - the touch screen is adjustable according to the pressure you wish to use on it and is extremely easy to use - the software is simple enough for even the least technically minded person to use (I managed it!).
I have had no problems to date, and raved about it so much that my brother bought one too (though in a different colour so there is no danger of accidently picking up the wrong one...).
The FM radio feature is also useful, except I find that I have to retune it sometimes, depending on where abouts I am at the time. However, as one of only a small number of MP3 players with the radio feature, that's a small price to pay!

I had this item the other day and i think it is great the touch pad takes a bit of getting use to but after 10min u will get the hang of it. the only problem i find is that if you r going on holidays out side of the uk u will have 2 buy a travel adapte which does cost an extra £28 but i would not let this put u of buying this item

I bought by Zen Micro in January and was very pleased with it at first. It sounded great, looked great, had a good battery life, was well specified and was compact and light but it broke down after 1 month due to a loose wire in the headphone jack and firmware was prone to crashing even before that. Granted Creative's customer support were excellent and I had a replacement within 1 week but 2 weeks later the same thing happened again. Once again Creative customer support were very helpful and I decided to give them another chance. The next Zen Micro lasted up until this morning. Yet again the headphone jack is broken. Whenever the headphones are in and nothing is otuching the bit going into the jack, the sound is fine but if anything touches against it, the sound cuts out. I'm now going to try and get my money back. The firmwre is also still prone to crashing. By the sound of things I'm not the only one to have problems. Its a great MP3 Player, but theres no point to it if its just going to break down.

I wanted an Mp3 player and after reading every review on the web I could get my hands on, I decided on the Zen Micro. I've had it since the 14th of March, and I have had no problems with it whatsoever. It does what it says on the box!
I've had friends who have bought iRivers and had so many problems with downloading, upgrades etc. I haven't had any of these worries.
It fits into the palm of your hand, and is easy to operate. Yes, the touch pad takes a bit of getting used to, but you'll soon have the hang of it. The software is easy to use. Downloading songs is a breeze and takes no time at all. I currently have 500 songs on mine, and I still have 2736 mb left.
The only thing I don't like is the white clip on belt holder that comes with it. I've ended up putting mine in a pouch instead.
All in all, I love it. I use it every day on the way to and from work, plus any time I go anywhere. I'm really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Going away a lot camping at the weekends I wanted something I could play music on and maybe listen to the radio as well. After a lot of searching and dithering, I found the Creative Zen Micro, it is so easy to use (even I can manage it, my fiance only had to show this non-technical person once how to use it) I now have 870 songs (53 Albums!) on it and still have 1.7GB of space left!. The Vertical Touch pad took a bit of getting used to but not long (I was just a bit heavy handed with it at first!)The radio isn't that good you have to keep moving the headphone wires to get a good reception but once you get there it's not to bad. All in all I am very happy with my Purple (I love the colour of it too!) MP3 player and am very happy I brought it :)
