I rely on my mp3 to play the music i want when i want.
this mp3 is portable good quiality sound and very easy to use.
However it is, as told in other reviews, VERY slow.
The slow factor will annoy alot if you want to store the given maximum of 1000 songs (if your stupid enough to have songs at 2mb each) it will get very hard to choose/locate you song. If you pause the song when browsing the menus and chhoosing your song then it will perform alot faster but this can be a problem when trying to choose the appropriot EQ.
i give this mp3 4 stars out of 5 because it is very portable and good sound quality but that annoying speed lets it down.

Two serious problems you must be aware of. First, the battery life is nowhere near 9 hours. Most users seem to get it to last between one to four hours maximum. Mine last about 2-3. You have to recharge it by plugging it into a turned on PC, not always convenient.
Secondly, I doubt it holds anywhere near a 1000 four minute songs. I have used up half the capacity downloading 13 normal CDs.
I suspect the above is why it is only £30-ish. Pay more, get more.

Pros:
- really small!
- good LCD - small, but still easy to read and bright;
- sound quality is good (but mind you, that it's easy to create some noise, when headphones plug is turning in socket);
- you can use it without any drivers and designed apps on any operating system (I'm using it on Windows Vista and Mandriva Linux 2008);
- battery life is acceptable: around 8-10 hours of playing high-bitrate mp3;
- it's small, very, very small ;-)
Cons:
- this shiny player's surface attracts immediately scratches and... my cats' fur;
- it takes a while to lock player's buttons;
- menu system's easy to learn - but some options (like browsing music) should have better access;
- there's no hole on side, so you won't be able to hang it on neck without additional skin;
- headphones socket is in place, where headphones plug/wire quite often makes access to play/pause button hard.

Yes this is a neat little player and I am pleased with it on the whole. However, I did charge it up initially for at least 3 hours as instructed, and can only get around 3 and a half hours out of it, so battery life is definitely not good. Quite easy to navigate the menus, although a little fiddly, but the sound is great. Would have given it a higher rating if the battery had been better.

A very nice mp3 player to use.. a real contender to the ipod shuffle.. you will really need to get the 2gb version with the screen as if you have filled up the device like I have scrolling though 300 songs will take a while.
the response time for the firmware is a bit slow so it can take about a second to move around the options and songs.
The headphones supplied are ok but you will want to invest in some decent ones to fully enjoy it your music on the go.
battery life aint decent but for commuting to work it is ideal for me.
