Doesn't support Vista .............. headphones are a pain. - 29 Feb 2008

I've just bought this product, and found the software supplied with it isn't compatible with Vista - can't see that mentioned in the Amazon description? No, neither could I - another great product write-up from Amazon.
Also, the same socket on the player is used for both the power supply and headphone, which means you have to disconnect you headphones to charge the device. No problem I hear you say ........ until you realise that the headphones have a clip adaptor that is good for keeping them in place, but not user friendly to remove - in fact it's already annoying me and the player only arrived this morning.
The headphone are good (necklace style), but this is very much personal preference and I could see most people hating these (I'm not too worried by my street cred !).
Sound is good though.
If it were a little less expensive I'd forgive it a few flaws, but at £69.99 for 2GB somehow I don't really feel like being too charitable ...............
No WMA-DRM Support - 17 Jan 2008

This was my forth iriver player, but the first to be returned for a refund. The key problem is that it does not support WMA-DRM something that is pretty vital to me (and many other non-ipod users) and is different from most other iriver players. Beware.
Great little mp3 player, poor radio reception - 29 May 2007

This is a fantastic mp3 player if you're looking for something tiny and ultra-portable. It's barely bigger than a postage stamp and is perfect for listening to when out jogging. I found the navigation system simple and easy to use, the headphones are fine, and the iRiver software couldn't be simpler. The downside is the radio receiver, which has fairly patchy reception (this is due to the device rather than the location as my Sony portable radio has perfect receptor). It would also benefit from a "lock" button. Overall very pleased and think it's good value for money.
