do not buy philips they don`t last! - 18 Jan 2007

i had the player for 15 month it never worked properly and it used to freeze all the time.
got a full refund after i sent the player three times to netherland,
not worth it the software it is not up to date.
don`t bother look for creative or iriver forget philips they do not know what mp3 players means!

It's a Good choice for its price but it does have some issues:
VERY long update time, updating aprox 1,000 songs a day .
Very basic program to update.
Stops Responding (not too often but enough to be slightly annoying).
Can stop responding permenatly with 3,000 songs.
No Play all Option.
Good Points:
Can be used as an external Harddrive.
Very good headphones that come with it.
Long battery life (only needs charging once a week on average).
Easy interface.
Can record.
Simple controls
