This is a great little mp3 player. it has gd sound quality and the capability to upgrade memory is a really good feature. it is great for the gym as it is small and compact. a definite recommendation. well worth buying.
Four reasons why I hate this device - - 28 Feb 2006

I received this as a replacement for an earlier Nike/Philips unit that died on me after 6 mths.
I hate this device because-
1. The power (a AAA battery) last less than 5 hours, so I have to change it at least once a week.
2. The on/off button on the side has a habit of switching the unit on while its in my bag - so on at least 3 occasions I've gone to the gym only to find a nearly-new battery completely flat.
3. The sofware - downloads via Windows Media Player. Each track must be individualy selected (VERY slow), then the device takes forever to downlaod.
4. Volume - even at full volume the volume is far too low...when I'm running in the gym I can barely hear some songs.
I only ever use this when my iPod shuffle is recharging.
Avoid.
