The Samsung YP K5 Doesn't Play OGG files - 21 Feb 2008

This isn't a fault with the product. Its a problem with the above spec that says OGG playback Yes. If you're not interested in playing Ogg files (just MP3s) then you'll be very happy with this. Its an incredibly sexy machine. But I bought it to play oggs and its quite tricky returning it (Its not broken but I didnt buy it from amazon who don't take 3rd party returns). If you don't play oggs then I recommend it.

I bought this amazing Mp3 Player from Avidas Media on Amazon couple of weeks ago.It has an amazing sound quality that I never heared before not even on I-POD.
The player's display is also another feature that makes it a complete package.Simply i love this Player.The only sad part of the player that u can't delete any file within the player for that u have to attach it to the PC.

Well I found this really easy to use. I just plugged it in with the lead to my computer and went to My Computer and found the storage device, clicked on that and clicked and dragged anything I wanted. The Samsung Studio I found a little bit more complicated to use but got the hang of it in the end. The player is very easy to use, great sound with the speaker in and out and the touch screen is brilliant. I use the alarm for the mornings and the sleep mode at night and everything works fine. Really pleased and would recommend it.

Original order on 17th sept. never arrived, Amazon sent out another which
came today but player will not turn on or charge up, its dead. Just about
to send it back, hopefully it'll be 3rd time lucky.

I have the 4GB version and there are so many great things about this player;
-It is really beautiful,stylish and extremely well built.
-Its speaker is of great quality.
-Its interface is simple yet of very good taste.
-It touchscreen works really well.
-It has incredible earphones, the best i've seen bundled with a player.
-It is reasonably priced
But it has one major flaw, that makes it practically unusable by me, it does not support on-the-fly playlist creation. The playlist creation via its software is also terrible and time consuming.
It is a real pain to navigate through 4 gigas of music just to find one song, then search again for the next one and so on.
I believe it would be so easy to remedy this problem by a firmware upgrade, but so far nothing has been done.
I really like this player, but I'll have to sell it. This playlist problem really ruins everything for me.
