I've had this mp3 for about year and a half....have had no problems at all...battery life is incredible...actually goes for about 25 hrs without any breaks...its really good for a quick 10min charge which will easily last another hr. I mustve dropped it on hard concrete at least ten times...never damaged it at all..still looks amazin (gotta b the best lookin mp3 ever)..as for the software i dunno why people complain..just keep in mind that if ure software seems to b really slow or dusnt work then update...if everything is running fine then dont update..i think its just people not knowing how to use computers properly...highly recommended Mp3 player..Best of the Best

i found the mp3 player very stylish and easy to use and all my mates love it as its very distinctive and different from all the others out there.
i was however disappointed with the volume as its was quite low and when out in public, on some tracks the sound of people talking and traffic is clearer than the actual music. also the earphones were pretty useless as the got damaged within three months and im currently trying to get replacement.
aside from this i would definately reccommend the mp3 player

Got this for christmas and havn't stopped using it since, all my mates loved it when they saw it, coolest screen ever and everything about it. Especially like the artist link, if your in the modd for that kind of artist and you've already gone through all their songs you can just go onto another similar artist.
Software was fine, just got a litlle slow when i had all 6gb of music space filled up.
Would invest in a case for it just because i didn't and was extremely upset when i got a small dent in the back, my friends tell me they can't notice it but oh well.
Only problem...no anti-theft on it!! Out in Gran Canarai for a sailing event and some little pikey nabbed it off my boat when i was elsewhere...with my travel insurance im just about to invest in a brand new one of these...hmm what colour this time.....

I ummed and arghed about whether to get one of these, i really wanted one i thought they looked really cool and had lots of good features but then i heard the bad reports on the software.. I read the reviews on here and it seemed kind of 50/50 but i felt like spending some money!! also the fact that you get two little sony speakers gave me the final push. I was a bit worried as my lap top can be quite slow even though its not very old, but to be honest i have found the 'connect' software quite good! there may of been a few bugs that i needed to iron out but that may of been down to user error as i have never used anything like this really or had a MP3 player before. Its very similar to Windows media player which i use for burning cds and it converted all my music files from there which i thought it could not do so that was cool. The little speakers you can get at the moment are great for listening while you do stuff in your room, they are not too loud but loud enough for that. two thumbs up, if you was unsure about this product i say go for it, i wasn't disapointed!!

Bought the Sony walkman after trawling through the internet, and decided it was mile better than i pod or creative mp3's. The software is great and so easy to use, just be careful when uploading all yr music files to yr player as it doesnt just pick up music but all other sounds saved like from games ect......... The sound is great and the headphones comfy. Invest in a case as may get scratched in yr handbag and its so pink n shiny we wouldnt want that..........
Thumbs up to Sony has put my trust back into the name.
